Mel was one of the first to be licensed in Qld to use class 4 laser’s back in 2000. Her company was the first to work with Qld Radiation health to implement the laser safety protection plan that is in use today.

Hi there, let me introduce myself,
My name is Melinda (Mel for short) I am the owner of Beauty by Laser Clinic.
A little bit about myself:
I have been in the cosmetic industry for over 25 years and my love for the Laser Aesthetic industry started working in a Cosmetic Clinic at Toowong. During my time there I was one of the very first laser technicians in Queensland to become licensed with Radiation Health.
From there my dream was always to have my own Cosmetic Clinic and my dream became a reality in 2002 when I started a small clinic in the heart of Brunswick St New Farm. I was the only one working in the clinic to begin with I worked hard to grow the business to one day open more clinics so within that time I went from owning 1 clinic to owning 3 clinics located in Aspley, New Farm and Maroochydore and employing up to 24 staff.
I decided to pass on the reigns to a new business owner allowing me to have sometime off. I soon realised after a while I missed the industry and the wonderful clients I had met over the years, so I decided time for a change I moved to the Gold Coast with my family to start working for myself in my new clinic Beauty by Laser.
I have always been passionate about this industry so when the opportunity came up to open a boutique Clinic at Freedom Suites Southport I didn’t hesitate.
I love seeing the smiles on my clients faces when they have achieved their desired results whether that be removing a tattoo or addressing a particular skin concern it certainly makes it all worthwhile.
